I know it doesn’t feel like it, but Halloween is right around the corner, and it’s time to do some stitching if you want some new Halloween decor in your house.
This sweet little ghost from Sewing Seed is a great place to start, and it looks amazing on black cross stitch fabric because it is stitched in white (of course!).
The pattern can be downloaded from etsy and costs (as of this writing) $4. It measures 3 inches wide and a little more than 3 inches tall, perfect for a little card or an addition to a treat bag.

Sometimes it can be hard to distinguish yourself as a cross stitch designer. Most designers do holiday designs, they often do florals, have text designs that are a little snarky. But if you can find a niche you love and people can come to know you for it, that’s a great strategy.
