Sometimes you want to add a little cross-stitched word or phrase or initials to a project, but it’s not always easy to find cross stitch fonts that are good for general use.
I like this one, called Basic Block, from Better Cross Stitch Patterns.
It is basic, and blocky, and in this case that’s a good thing. They are simple letters that won’t detract from a larger design but they’re also not exactly plain or boring.
I love the little small caps instead of lower case letters, and definitely will keep this nice, readable font on hand for cross-stitch letting projects.
Do you have a go-to cross-stitch font? I’d love to hear about it.
