I love stitching hearts because they are such a fun and easy shape. The other day my daughter was home from school and I was a bit burnt out from knitting (which is my normal default craft) so I pulled out some burlap ribbon and decided to make a Valentine’s Day bookmark.
Of course hearts can be an all year thing and can indicate your love for reading as much as anything else.
This is a really quick and simple project that kids could also do, and it’s fun using different colors (variegated thread would be great for this project, too).
You can grab the pattern at my blog, Our Daily Craft.
