It always feels a little bit wrong that winter doesn’t officially start until it’s almost Christmas. It kind of feels like winter after Thanksgiving (and the weather often feels wintry long before the calendar calls it that season).
But it really is just now almost winter, so there’s plenty of time to stitch snowflakes.
I love this Cross Stitch Snowflake from Simplicity. The dark blue fabric is lovely with the white stitching, and the silver beads just take it over the top with beauty.
One of these would make a great holiday gift for someone or a way to make the long winter feel a little less dreary.
