I love when cross-stitch projects can be used for something more than just hanging on the wall. I want the things I make to become part of everyday life, not just be decoration.
So I really like this idea of using a cross-stitch design on a homemade hot water bottle cover. You’ll find the instructions for both at Sew and Sew.
The bottle cover is made with fleece for extra snuggly warmth, and the cross-stitch design features a teddy bear and says “You give me a warm fuzzy feeling.”
So cute! Have you ever made a hot water bottle cover before? I don’t use hot water bottles, but given that I’m always cold I probably should!

I was recently doing a scroll through some crafting websites that I follow and I came across this amazing collection of cross stitch job patterns from Koekoek. It includes more than 100 different jobs, sports and hobbies, and these would be so much fun to personalize and stitch up for friends, family and co-workers.
