One of the great things about new year’s cross stitch patterns is that it’s pretty easy to change the year to use a pattern that was produced years before for a different year.
For instance, this winter-themed Happy New Year pattern from Embroiderbee’s Primary Hive was made for 2011 but you can easily slide in a two for that first one to make it 2021.
It’s a pretty simple pattern and you can use more or fewer colors, or even use a variegated thread to make it a quicker project if you like. Head to Embroiderbee’s to grab the chart.

I already shared some cross stitch patterns specific to America 250, but if you want to cross stitch something more general for the Fourth of July, these patriotic sampler style patterns are a great place to start.
