There are all sorts of great geeky craft patterns out there, but one of the classics is Super Mario Brothers (did you see the Mario and the Princess knit scarf I made a few years ago?).
I recently stumbled upon a list of 21 free Super Mario patterns that are great for cross stitch at And She Games. Not all of the links seem to be working, but it’s a great place to start.
A couple of highlights:
Mario Retro game Cross stitch sampler Characters over at Etsy
- Classic Mario in the game from Disorderly Stitches
- Mario and Luigi playing Mario and Luigi from Sprite Stitch
- Yoshi via DeviantArt
Have you ever stitched Mario, Luigi, Yoshi or the princess? I’d love to hear about it! It’s fun to bring these characters to life in a different form.
I was recently doing a scroll through some crafting websites that I follow and I came across this amazing collection of cross stitch job patterns from Koekoek. It includes more than 100 different jobs, sports and hobbies, and these would be so much fun to personalize and stitch up for friends, family and co-workers.
