I am getting a little tired of the almost-fall weather. Here in the southern United States, it takes so long for fall to actually happen that we get a little impatient. But it’s supposed to be cool later this week and the trees are starting to turn a little bit, so I can feel it coming.
Maybe doing a little fall-themed stitching would help? I love this Automne cross-stitch pattern (there’s an English version, too) from Gazette 94.
It features all sorts of images of fall including a sunflower, leaf, pumpkin and blackbird.
The chart has two parts, which you can knit separately as shown, or only knit one to make a sweet little pillow, or just the smaller part might be the right size for a bookmark.
Enjoy!
