It’s time for Kwanzaa, the weeklong celebration of African American culture and heritage. While cross-stitch isn’t a traditional African craft, it’s still a great way to illustrate the symbols of the celebration.
Maria Merlino designed this chart of a Kwanzaa kinara candelabra, complete with the seven lit candles to represent each day of Kwanzaa. It fits in a 4×6 inch frame and is actually pretty quick and simple to complete while the celebrations are still happening.

I was recently doing a scroll through some crafting websites that I follow and I came across this amazing collection of cross stitch job patterns from Koekoek. It includes more than 100 different jobs, sports and hobbies, and these would be so much fun to personalize and stitch up for friends, family and co-workers.
