The total eclipse of 2017 is coming to North America, and while I don’t recommend stitching during the eclipse, you can make a project to celebrate this rather rare event.
Savage Damsal on etsy has an eclipse pattern, featuring suns, the phases of the moon and the date of the eclipse. It’s $5 to download the PDF pattern.
Hugs Are Fun has eclipse as the word for the letter E in her cross-stitched flash cards. At the time of this writing her site was not working, but here is the link to her flash cards just in case it starts working again, and you can see the photos of some of them over on Craftster, where at least you can use them for inspiration.
What are your plans for the eclipse? We have 91 percent totality here so we’re just staying home, but I have a lot of friends traveling the couple of hours from here it will take to experience totality.
