Diwali Lanterns to Cross Stitch

November 9, 2020 by Sarah White

Diwali the festival of lights is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than to stitch some lanterns?

This pretty lantern cross stitch pattern would be appropriate for other occasions as well, and is really colorful and looks like fun to stitch.

The stitched area is 50 by 72 stitches, which comes out to about 3.5 by 5.1 inches. The pattern as written uses seven colors, but I don’t think you could use too many on a project like this.

The pattern is from Daily Cross Stitch, where patterns are free for members or you can download for $1.
