Heartland House has the rights to create Cross Stitch design replicas of Frank Lloyd Wright. I love seeing what they will come up with next. The latest is a real winner!
In 1923, Frank Lloyd Wright began designing four homes in the Hollywood/Los Angeles area. Wright used a unique method of building construction, weaving decorative blocks of concrete together with reinforced steel rods. It came to be known as the Textile Block System. The Charles Ennis House, also known as “Sijistan”, was by far the largest and most imposing of these homes. It makes for a great cross-stitch tile, don’t you think?
