I love this Art Nouveau style wedding cross stitch pattern from DMC. The flowers are so pretty, and of course you can make it in the couple’s wedding colors instead of the pinks and greens shown in the sample.
The font used for the names and numbers is really fun and would be great on other projects as well.
And the “oggi sposi,” Italian for “just married,” sends it over the top in cuteness.
This free pattern uses just four colors of thread and is sure to be a keepsake whether worked as a wall hanging, a pillow or on another project.

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
