I know some people like to jump straight from Halloween to Christmas, but we need to take a little time to craft some things for Thanksgiving first, am I right?
I love this Give Thanks cross stitch pattern from DMC. The turkeys are classic, and it gives me old-fashioned stitched sampler vibes.
It’s also great because it uses a variegated thread that looks like all the fall colors all at once, giving a lot of depth to the project without any additional work. In fact the whole pattern (which is 111 stitches square, or a little less than 8 inches on 14-count fabric) uses just one color of thread.

I have never stitched a greeting card, but I kind of like the idea of it. It’s a card and a gift all in one, and hopefully one the recipient will hang onto for years to come.
