
I’m not sure I understand this Mother’s Day cross stitch pattern from Alita Designs. I don’t know if there’s a connection between pears and moms that I’m not getting.
There doesn’t have to be a reason, though, because it is pretty darn cute. This would be a great one for a child who knows how to cross stitch to make for their mom, or anyone who thinks they and their mom make a great pear, er, pair.
The pattern uses nine colors and can be worked on a variety of fabric counts, but the recommended size is roughly 8 inches by 6 inches. So cute!

I have never stitched a greeting card, but I kind of like the idea of it. It’s a card and a gift all in one, and hopefully one the recipient will hang onto for years to come.
