Ramadan, the Muslim holy month, begins June 5, so I wanted to look around for some Islamic cross stitch patterns to share. Many of these sites are not in English, but the designs are beautiful and worth sharing.
Islamic Cross Stitch is a blog that is in English and has many beautiful free patterns including floral designs and calligraphy. Her Facebook page is beautiful, too, with lots of great images for inspiration.
Ekaterina Gogoleva is another designer with many gorgeous script designs. Her site is not in English but this one is labeled Ramadan Mubarak. Here’s another of hers for Ramadan; I also really love this tulip design.
And while I can’t read this site at all, it does have a nice mosque design and some other Islamic cross stitch patterns.
There are no charts there but Didi’s Cross Stitch site has some lovely inspirational designs.
Do you know of any sites for Islamic cross stitch? I’d love to hear about them! We found these patterns on Etsy which you may want to check out too.
