I love hearts of all sizes, and they’re such a simple shape to stitch and a great way to work with a repeating pattern.
Little Lovelies adds another dimension to the tiny repeating heart idea by making them ombre hearts as well. Of course you could stitch yours all the same color if you want, or do rainbow colors, or the favorite color of whoever you are stitching for.
This would be a simple, quick and easy project to make for Valentine’s Day or to show the love all year.

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
