No cross-stitching today, but I know we all have extra hoops lying around so I just had to share this cute and simple idea for making an embroidery hoop spider web.
This one is from Two Shades of Pink, and you literally just need a hoop and some yarn to pull it off. OK, and a pair of scissors. And maybe some googly eyes if you make a spider, too.

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
