It’s disappointing to us that we haven’t been able to go on our beach vacation this year like we normally do, and I’ve been thinking about bringing some beach vibes to the house to make us feel a little of the calm and relaxation that we feel when we’re on vacation.
If you have a beach theme happening in your home, this little lighthouse cross stitch pattern might be a good addition.
It’s a freebie from Smart Cross Stitch and I particularly like it because it’s a circle, which makes it a little more fun than your standard cross stitch design.
It’s 43 by 43 stitches and manages to cram in 14 colors, so while it’s not all that big it might be a bit of a challenge for newer stitchers. But definitely worth the effort!

I left myself a note when I added Colorfully Sarah Shop to my list of shops to write about that says “small but adorable.” I was talking about the shop in general — which as of this writing has just 40 patterns — but it’s also true of the designs themselves.
