If you want to stitch a super simple card or gift tag for a father or grandfather in your life, check out these little charts designed by Lorraine Clarke that I found at CyberStitchers.
The Dad cross stitch is shown with musical notes surrounding the word, but the actual chart has little stars in those spots, just like the Grandad one does. (And it would be pretty easy to change Grandad to Grandpa if you need to, just turn the d around and move it over!)
The Dad chart uses two colors and measures 41 by 27 stitches, while the Grandad chart in 62 by 29 and also uses two colors, though you could add more to either if you wanted.

I was recently doing a scroll through some crafting websites that I follow and I came across this amazing collection of cross stitch job patterns from Koekoek. It includes more than 100 different jobs, sports and hobbies, and these would be so much fun to personalize and stitch up for friends, family and co-workers.
