The trouble with Halloween decorations is that you have to put them away after the holiday, but a lot of them would work throughout the fall if only they weren’t so creepy.
This Halloween pumpkin pattern is a cute solution to that problem. It’s still a jack o’ lantern, but it’s wearing a Pilgrim hat so it can stay out through Thanksgiving.
It’s a relatively easy pattern using 10 colors of thread and is 78 stitched square, or about 5.5 inches in 14 count. It would be so cute in a little frame on the entryway table or next to the centerpiece on the dining room table.
