I love this easy little turkey cross stitch pattern from Connie at About Cross Stitch.
The turkey is worked in a couple of shades of brown with full, half and quarter cross stitches, and the words “Happy Turkey Day” are at the bottom, which would of course be optional.
This would be really cute as a greeting card, or stitch the turkey onto linens for your Thanksgiving table.
Do you do any stitching for Thanksgiving? I’d love to hear about it!

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
