I don’t know how it is where you live, but summer is not anywhere near over around here. (And if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, you’re still looking forward to it coming!) And even if it were, the sun still comes out in the fall and winter, and you need a place to keep your sunglasses.
If that storage can be cute, so much the better.
Little Button Diaries has a tutorial for a sweet and simple sewn sunglass case with cross-stitched glasses on the front.
The pattern for the glasses is copied onto muslin, which you actually sew from the back to make x shapes on the front (sounds trickier than it is once you get the hang of it).
The pouch is lined and finished off with a snap. Easy, adorable and useful!
