This little tree cross stitch design from Hawthorne Tree Designs is super cute. It’s one of her free charts, and it’s particularly adorable with the addition of a button shaped like an owl living in the tree.
Either way it comes out to 40 by 46 stitches (about 3 inches square) and as stitched uses several different colors for the leaves. You can make them in different shades of green or use fall colors, or even a multicolored thread that will change the colors as you stitch.
