I really like this cross stitch pattern for a tree with a tire swing hanging from it. It reminds me of relaxing summer days (even though the only tire swing I’ve seen in recent memory was at the house where my daughter used to take swimming lessons, which was definitely not a relaxing experience!) and taking things slow.
If you need a reminder to stop and swing on the tires, this is a nice choice.
It was designed by Terra Luna Stitchery and is available for free from Cyber Stitchers. It measures almost square, 45 by 46 stitches, and is the perfect project to while away a summer afternoon (or a few).

These backpack cross stitch patterns aren’t like the backpacks you would use for school, but they might inspire you to go on a different sort of adventure, and pack your sense of humor.
