There are tons of cross-stitch patterns with a fall or Halloween theme, and I’m going to share as many of them as I can in the next few weeks, but I wanted to start with this amazing Halloween alphabet from Better Cross Stitch Patterns.
Each of the upper case letters has a little character or symbol worked in — such as black cats, pumpkins, bats and spiders. The chart also includes plain upper case letters in case you want to only stitch the letter without the embellishment.
There are also plain lower case letters and numbers and the embellishments by themselves you can add them in other places in your design as you see fit.
This set has definitely got my designer gears turning. I hope it inspires you, too. If you use it I’d love to know what you make!
