Nicole of Follow the White Bunny has a great review of a recent release from Anova Books. The Cross-Stitch book is called Storyland Cross Stitch and it seems it is chock full of great projects. I haven’t managed to get my hands on a copy yet, but Nicole will tell you all about it if you head on over to her blog at Follow the White Bunny. Then you can decide if you want to invest in the book or not. She has purchasing information listed there.
One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
