If you like to design your own cross-stitch charts, you know what a pain it can be to do it by hand.
Using a computer program makes it a lot easier because you can change things quickly, without having to redraw your whole chart if you want to move something.
Maiden Mag uses Photoshop to make all of the charts she sells on etsy, and she recently shared how she makes cross-stitch charts in Photoshop on her blog.
I don’t use Photoshop but if you do this looks pretty easy, especially if you’re starting from a photograph, simple design or text. You could do the same thing in other photo processing programs, too, I’ll bet.
Have you ever made your own charts? I’d love to hear how you did it!
