I recently came across this post on Tiny Modernist about floss waxing, which is not something I have given much thought to lately.
I know that floss waxing is a thing — and as it sounds it is literally a way to apply wax to your thread to condition it so that it’s easier to pull through your fabric and doesn’t fray as easily.
It definitely could be helpful if you have thread that is giving you trouble, and it’s not difficult to do. She’s got a video that runs through the whole process if you’re interested.
Have you ever conditioned your floss with wax? I’d love to hear about it!
