There’s something really nice about seeing colorful birds in the bare trees covered with snow. Even if you don’t live somewhere that gets a lot of snow, this winter birds cross stitch pattern from Well Stitches is a lovely one to stitch and hang during the winter months.
The pattern uses 14 colors and is 213 by 121 stitches. It’s worked on 14-count beige fabric, which offers a nice contrast to the black branches and colorful birds.

I have never stitched a greeting card, but I kind of like the idea of it. It’s a card and a gift all in one, and hopefully one the recipient will hang onto for years to come.
