than what I usually post about. I usually post a lot about free patterns, but plan to post more about other things related to cross stitch in the coming days, so I thought I’d start with Liz Westlake’s delicious Dragonflylotus Designs Handspun Thread available from her etsy shop. It’s not just for needlepoint you know. One of my favorite things to do is to take unusual fibers and work with them in cross stitch projects.
I also love to use unusual surfaces too. More about that coming soon!
Summer is the time for sweet treats, whether eating them or stitching them. This collection of patterns is full of designs that are good enough to eat. Almost.
That thread is gorgous. I’d love to see it worked up in cross stitch!
That’s my thread you’re talkin’ about, Connie! 🙂
Angela, you can see some finished projects over in my Flickr group http://www.flickr.com/groups/1793041@N23/ and on my blog handspunthread.blogspot.com.
