Daisy Cross Stitch Patterns

April 7, 2026 by Sarah White

There are so many great flowers in spring, but daisies are one of my favorites. They’re a favorite of cross stitch designers, too, as I learned when I went looking for daisy cross stitch patterns and found a ton. Here are just a few that caught my eye. It turns out they’re the birth flower of May, so you can stitch them up for a May baby’s birthday or any other occasion.

If you want to keep it super simple or you’re a beginner, this daisy cross stitch pattern from Atelier Tiphanie is a great one. It uses six colors and is 40 by 40 stitches, so it should be a pretty fast project, too.

Luzatoyle has another easy daisy pattern that looks like they’ve been freshly plucked. This charming little design is 2.5 by 3 inches (6.35 by 7.62 cm) or 35 by 43 stitches and uses five colors.

Looking for a cross stitch kit to make a daisy? This one from Helens Crossing includes black fabric, a 4-inch hoop, thread and a needle. It’s rated for beginners so this might be a good one to gift someone new to cross stitch who loves flowers.

Or how about a daisy bookmark? This one form Natalka Studio is 31 by 99 stitches and uses 7 colors. That measures 2.2 by 7.1 inches or 5.6 by 18 cm on 14 count fabric and it’s an allover pattern, so you might need to add a little extra fabric for edging if you want.

This bee and daisy pattern from Mariana Goncalves ART is super sweet and pretty easy, too. It measures 70 by 70 stitches, or 5 by 5 inches (that’s 12.7 cm) on 14 count fabric, which is super cute in a 6-inch hoop.

This wreath of daisies from The Fresh Cross Stitch is also pretty and not too difficult, though it is a larger pattern at 150 by 150 stitches. It uses 8 colors and on 14 count fabric comes out to 10.7 inches or 27 cm square.

Playing on the idea that daisies are April’s flower is this sweet pattern from Stitch Haus Studio Shop (leave the word April off if you prefer). The design comes out to 10.7 by 14.3 inches (27.2 by 36 cm) on 14 count fabric and uses 14 colors.

I love this watercolor daisy pattern from XStitchPatternX because it looks like the flowers are still growing in a field of wildflowers. This pattern uses 28 colors and measures 108 by 200 stitches. On 14 count fabric that would come out to 7.87 by 14.7 inches, or 20.3 by 36.3 cm.

Designer Spotlight: Unique Stitch Crafts

Unique Stitch Crafts is a Turkish designer that has a couple of main interests in their cross stitch designs: travel and Christmas stockings.

By far the biggest category in their storefront is Christmas stockings, with more than 100 options to choose from. There are fully stitched fronts with designs classic and whimsical (like an alicorn and a pastel rainbow, or a bunny in Harlequin costume playing violin to a mushroom) and designs that just go across the cuff of the stocking. There are ornaments with a Nutcracker or Frozen theme, New York City stockings and stockings for your dinosaur.

As an example, here’s a stocking covered with mini holiday designs, which you could also use as ornaments if you wanted. The full design is 165 by 255 stitches, which comes out to 10.3 by 16 inches, or 26 by 40.6 cm on 16 count fabric. The pattern just makes the front of the stocking so you need to grab some fabric for the back of the stocking and sew it together yourself.

There’s also a large collection of travel cross stitch patterns, including national parks designs both large and mini, and travel poster style designs for many US states and cities. (There’s not an Arkansas, which is my standard test since I live there, but there is a pattern of the Mississippi River bridge in Memphis, which is technically half in Arkansas.)

If you’re more of a world traveler you’ll find more of the travel poster style designs for cities and countries, including Thailand and China, Berlin, Sydney and Marrakech.

In addition to all of that, you’ll find patterns called retro, which includes a wide range of designs, but many seem to be food and coffee related; folk art designs (lots of flowers and birds); and famous paintings translated to cross stitch. Smaller categories include Christmas, Halloween, animals, kids and castles.

Check out all the fun designs at Unique Stitch Crafts on Etsy.
