One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
Hi, I am working on some gifts by doing jar lids, but I need to find out what size cloth to use for the stitch count. Is there a calculator or guide out there some place? I see 14 ct on this one works, which is very helpful to start with. Thanks it has been years since I did little pieces of cross stitch and want to get back into it.
