It feels like every year I find more Hanukkah cross stitch patterns to share, which I guess is true of every holiday! (Check out some past Hanukkah cross stitch patterns if you need even more inspiration. I almost shared the dreidel gnome again because I love him so much!)
I love of holiday pattern with a bit of snark so of course I had to share the Oy to the World cross stitch pattern from Dissent Stitch. If you’re in a family that celebrates both Christmas and Hanukkah this is a perfect one to make. It measures 4.9 by 7.6 inches (that’s about 12.5 by 19.3 cm) when stitched on 14 count fabric and it uses just two colors.
This lovely design from Diana Watters Handmade has the menorah candles looking a little bit like flowers or stalks of wheat. From what I can tell this pattern is only available as a kit, which includes the hoop, fabric, needle, pre-cut thread in all the colors you need, the pattern and instructions on how to cross stitch. The kit comes with the pretty blue fabric shown and the design fits in a 7-inch hoop.
The last couple of patterns I wanted to share are also menorah patterns, and they both happen to be from Cross Stitch Wow. I don’t usually share multiple patterns from the same designer at the same time, but I couldn’t possibly pick just one.
Of course that’s because there was a cat involved. This cap napping under the menorah pattern is super sweet for the cat lover in your life, and you can change up the colors to match a cat you know if you want. The design fits in a 5-inch hoop and measures 45 by 40 stitches. That’s 3.2 by 2.9 inches, or 8.1 by 7.2 cm. It calls for 8 colors.
The other one I wanted to share has more colorful candles but actually uses fewer colors at just 5. It also fits in a 5-inch hoop and includes the menorah and Stars of David. This one is 65 by 65 stitches, which comes out to 4.7 inches or 11.8 cm on each side.
