I love the smell of lavender. It is such a relaxing scent. One whiff and I calm down in an instance. Another thing that calms me down is stitching and this little Lavender Girl would just be perfect to stitch up as a Lavender sachet. The Snowflower Diaries created this wonderful pattern. You can add beads like she has or maybe do a fancy knot. It is totally up to you. This little girl just makes me happy and the bow is just too much! I hope stitching her up relaxes you and brings a smile to your face.

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
