Every few months I remember to check out the collection of free cross stitch patterns from Country Living magazine, and this month’s (actually from July 2022) is this super cute lawn chair.
I love that it’s red and blue so it feels like a Fourth of July project (or make it red and white for Canada Day) but you can make it any colors you like to match your decor.
The design uses four colors and is available here, and check out all the free cross stitch patterns from Country Living here.

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
Thanks so much, so cute, love it! I’m trying to get more into cross stitch, so I appreciate it!
