After I posted some pink-ribbon cross-stitch projects, some readers asked about projects for other kinds of awareness ribbons.
Of course any ribbon can be made in any color, but if you want more specific color guidance check out the mini awareness ribbons cross stitch pattern on etsy from Seven Gnomes Stitchery.
It has options for 18 different colors for different diseases or causes. (Default is pink but you can choose others.)
The design is 36 by 50 stitches and worked in a single color. You can get the pattern on etsy for $3.99.
Whilst this design has been removed, we did find these ones on Etsy.

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
I wish this was on a knitting or crochet chart.
