Pot of Gold St Patrick’s Day Cross Stitch Patterns

February 3, 2026 by Sarah White

Stitch up a bit of luck for St. Patrick’s Day or any other time of year with these pot of gold cross stitch patterns!

Get a little luck with this pot of gold luck stamp design from 123Stitch.com. It’s shown worked on plastic canvas but you could use regular fabric instead. It calls for 7 colors and measures 23 by 27 stitches.

The rainbow on this pot of gold cross stitch pattern from Daily Cross Stitch reminds me of a Pride flag. The pattern is 64 by 80 stitches and uses 10 colors.

Stitch up a pot of gold with rainbow and shamrocks with this pattern from Vermont Stitchy Co. The pattern notes are low on details but it does say the finished design is 3.5 inches/8.89 cm square.

Make a sweet sentiment for someone you love with a “You are my pot of gold” design like this one from Climbing Goat Designs. I love the rainbow on this one. It measures 85 by 85 stitches and fits in an 8 inch hoop if worked on 14 count fabric. It uses 13 colors.

You’ll find the same sentiment on this design from Kait’s Crafting Corner. This one is 70 by 69 stitches and it looks like it uses 8 colors.

Or go with “You are Golden” with this cute little design from The Happiest Hoop. This one fits in a 3 inch hoop on 14 count fabric or 28 count evenweave. It uses 10 colors and is 25 by 25 stitches.

There’s a pot of gold included in this collection of Irish images from CrossStitch.com.You can jut pull out the pot of gold and/or the pot with the rainbow or stitch the full design, which comes to 111 by 124 stitches with 30 colors used. The pattern is designed by Susan Saltzgiver.

This last one is a little weird but it is cute so I wanted to include it. It’s a video from CrosStitcHelen on YouTube, and the video description includes a link to the pattern but the link isn’t working. I think that you could figure out the pattern from a screenshot of the finished image, or there’s a version of the chart shown at 2:39 in the video you could screenshot to stitch along.

Cross Stitch Ice Cream and Frozen Treats

Summer is the time for sweet treats, whether eating them or stitching them. This collection of patterns is full of designs that are good enough to eat. Almost.

This year of ice creams from Simone Balman Art is lots of fun, and you could also stitch up these treats individually if you’d rather. The full piece is 210 by 300 stitches, though it’s not full coverage. It uses 25 colors and comes out to 13.6 by 20.1 inches, or 34.5 by 51.2 cm, as shown on 14 count fabric.

These mini Popsicles from Mariana Gonclaves ART as super sweet and quick to stitch. These would also be a fun border to another summer project. The full design is 43 by 46 stitches, which is 3.1 by 3.3 inches, or 7.8 by 8.3 cm, on 14 count fabric.

Sam X Stitch has this fun sweet treat sampler, which again would be fun to stitch as individual pieces (maybe on napkins?). In all it calls for 18 colors and measures 153 by 153 stitches. That comes out to 10.93 inches or 27.75 cm on 14 count fabric.

Another great sampler is this one with ice cream and other sweet treats from Cute Patterns by Maria. At 119 by 132 stitches total, working the full pattern would be about 8.6 by 9.4 inches, or 22 by 24 cm on 14 count fabric, and it uses 33 colors. You can also stitch individual designs, which range in height from 35 to 45 stitches, and in width from 11 to 28.

This collection of four sundae patterns from Stichrovia would be fun to make for a kitchen or a teen’s room. Each pattern is around 40 by 50 stitches, so they should fit in a four or five inch hoop if worked on 14 count fabric.

Or stitch up one of the treats from Stitch Chart Studio‘s collection of seven ice cream cross stitch patterns. These range in size and in number of colors needed, but most would fit in a five or six in hoop (and one in a four inch hoop).
