Designer Spotlight: Lady Stitchicorn Wedding Llamas

February 5, 2026 by Sarah White

Lady Stitchicorn is the Etsy shop for you if you’re a feminist, like the zodiac (Chinese and Western), occult hobbies and llamas.

Yes, llamas.

This shop’s biggest category by far is for llama cross stitch patterns. You’ll find them for all seasons and there’s even a llama-themed calendar. There’s a zombie llama, a llama in pajamas and a llama in a Christmas sweater. There’s a llamacorn with a rainbow blanket, a Bahama llama in a Hawaiian shirt and Count Dracu-llama.

And there are a few variations of wedding llamas like these. The pattern is 60 by 43 stitches, which comes out to 4.3 by 3.1 inches, or 10.9 by 7.8 cm, when worked on 14 count fabric. It uses 11 colors. You could also add text if you want to make this as a wedding or anniversary gift, and you can change up the colors to suit the couple involved.

The next biggest category is zodiac, which includes images with outlines of the constellations for each sign as well as a cute animal to go with them (Virgo is a cat, for example, which tracks). There are also red designs for each of the Chinese zodiac animals, which you can buy individually or as a set of all 12.

Next up is cute and small patterns, which includes lots of animals as well as an avocado and a cactus. You’ll find some snark here (the narwhal is feeling stabby, for example) but you can leave off the sentiments if you like the animals on their own.

Other categories you’ll find here include nature, different hobbies represented as tarot cards with an occult twist (such as the crocheter making a pentagram), feminist patterns, Halloween designs, Murderino quotes, Christmas patterns and a couple inspired by Drag Race and The X Files.

So while I won’t say there’s something for everyone here there’s still a fun range of stuff for pop culture and zodiac fans who don’t mind a bit of snark. Check out all their offerings at Lady Stitchicorn.

All About Cross Stitch Project Bags

Project bags are not a necessity when it comes to cross stitch, or any other craft. But if you’re traveling with your cross stitch, or you want to keep things clean/organized/away from kids or pets, using project bags is a great idea.

Of course any kind of bag can be a project bag, from a zip top bag to a reusable shopping bag. I like to use the plastic zipper bags that sheets come in as project bags, especially for longer term storage of projects in hibernation because it keeps them clean and dust free but also allows me to see what’s in there.

Sirious Stitches has a very comprehensive post covering various options that they and other people in their community use for project bags and storage.

Probably the best thing about it is as it goes through the different kinds of bags there are links to tutorials if you want to make your own (because we’re mostly all multi-crafters, right?) and also places that you can buy bags if you’d rather go that route. You’ll find projects for a clear vinyl pencil pouch perfect for storing bobbined thread, large square pouches, vinyl square pouches, flat bottom pouches with zippers, folio cases with large pockets, bobbin pockets and multi-fold cases.

The point of all that research was that Siri wanted a new project bag, so you can click through to see not only all of these project options but what they ultimately made and how it’s working. It’s a really lovely project bag that makes me a little jealous on behalf of my projects that mostly just sit on my desk (or in a plastic shopping bag, ugh) while I’m working on them.

Do you have a favorite project bag? I’d love to hear about it. And be sure to check out the post at Sirious Stitches.
