This snowflake pattern was originally designed to be a bracelet pattern (thus its appearance on a website called Bracelet Book) but I think it would be lovely as a cross-stitch design as well.
Work it in blue or a multicolored blue, or even with a glitterly blue thread. Or try it on blue fabric stitched in white, maybe with beads at the ends of the flake?
There are lot of great options to get you through the winter!

One of the easiest ways to make a cross stitch project more personal is to add text to it. Whether you’re adding the names of people getting married to a generic floral cross stitch design, birth information to a project on theme with the new baby’s room or just adding a word or phrase that’s meaningful to you, adding words to cross stitch projects make them that much more special.
I think the snowflake design is beautiful to be able to crosstitch.
