St. Patrick’s Day has always been a big event in my family because my brother’s name is Patrick, so I will probably be sharing a lot of St. Patrick’s Day cross stitch projects in the coming days.
This one is an oldie but a goodie and a big one from Clare’s Celtic Cornucopia. It features a leprechaun resting under a rainbow with a pot of gold, shamrocks and the words Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
It looks like a lot of fun to stitch and would be great as a wall hanging or I was thinking it would be fun on a tote bag, too. The pattern measures 7 by 8 inches on 14 count cloth and uses 14 colors.
Do you have any St. Patrick’s Day themed cross stitch in your home? I’d love to hear about it.
