Mother’s Day always seems to creep up on me, but the good news is there’s still time to stitch something sweet for mom.
These hearts would be great to stitch onto a card or bookmark or add to another little design.
Instructables has a great little tutorial for making greeting cards with cross stitch, which you could add a heart to, or any other deign that you like.
Sampler Patterns has a nice collection of heart patterns, and while some of them are more involved, there are a couple of really simple ones you could easily add to a Mother’s Day project. I love the little double hearts and the tulip with the heart root.
Are you stitching anything for Mother’s Day? I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Summer is the time for sweet treats, whether eating them or stitching them. This collection of patterns is full of designs that are good enough to eat. Almost.
