I love it when cross stitch and other fiber arts can be incorporated into jewelry and accessories. It’s a fun way to show the world your hobbies even when you aren’t stitching in public.
DMC now makes leather cuffs that have holes for stitching. They come in several colors and the strap is somewhat adjustable.
Michele from the Scrap Shoppe Blog used some of these blanks to stitch super-cute cross stitch cuffs, and has the patterns for both the floral design and the Wonder Woman design on her blog. I love the little crocheted trim on the floral cuff, too, and she says she found that ribbon at the craft store. How cool is that?
Have you ever worked cross stitch into jewelry? I’d love to hear about it!
