Little Bear House Art: K-Pop Demon Hunters & Hungarian Folk Cross Stitch Patterns

May 30, 2026 by Sarah White

Little Bear House Art has a small but seriously specific cross stitch shop: K-Pop Demon Hunters quote patterns sit right alongside Hungarian folk art florals and snowflakes. If you’ve been searching for a K-Pop Demon Hunters cross stitch pattern, this designer spotlight is for you.

Soemhow I haven’t done a post on K Pop cross stitch patterns, so let’s take a look at one of those. The “Rising” pattern features lyrics from the song “What it Sounds Like” from the K Pop Demon Hunters movie: “We’re shattering the silence. We’re rising. Defiant. Shouting in the quiet. You’re not alone.”

It’s worked in a fun palette of bright colors (there are at least five, maybe more) as cheerful and motivating as the song. The finished design is about 2.8 inches square, or a little more than 7 cm.

There are a few other K Pop Demon Hunter designs, as well as a couple of other pop culture quote based projects.

Since I mentioned Hungarian folk art at the top I should note that these patterns involve snowflakes and florals and are quite different from the pop culture designs, but it’s fun to have range.

The rest of the projects on the site are defined as “modern,” which includes a couple of collections of ducks, a sampler of cats in the snow, some sweet samplers and snarkier designs. In the “modern rounds” section you’ll find kaleidoscopic designs with a Halloween and fall theme featuring black cats and bats.

Check out all the patterns at Little Bear House Art on Etsy.

And if you’re a cross stitch designer or you know a designer who I ought to feature in the spotlight, let me know in the comments or click on the Suggest a DIY link at the top of the page and fill out the form. Thanks for your help!

Have you read?

Designer Spotlight: Yellow Birdie Stitches

If you love to cross stitch bookmarks, Yellow Birdie Stitches is the Etsy shop for you. The shop is based in the UK and almost all of its designs are bookmarks (there are also some cute square designs).

You’ll find bookmarks about everything from romance novel tropes to Asian inspired towers, cats and Art Nouveau designs.

This one of a mermaid reading would be fun for summer, whether for you or for a mermaid loving person in your life. It measures 24 by 78 stitches and the patterns offer measurements for three different stitch counts, but it’s about 1.75 by 3.5 inches (or 4.4 by 8.8 cm) when stitched on 14 count fabric.

It’s shown here on white fabric but the pattern also recommends light green or blue if you have that in your stash. It calls for 14 colors (or 15 if you choose to use Light Effects thread for part of the project) and it looks like it’s all whole cross stitches with a fair bit of back stitching.

You’ll also need some felt or card stock to finish the back of your bookmark, though it is shown freshly stitched here.

In addition to the bookmarks you’ll also find some square designs that I think are designed to be coasters or mounted onto greeting cards, but of course you could frame them in a small square frame as well.

The cat section has several of these with a cats and bonsai theme. There’s also a coffee set that includes a bookmark, coaster and keychain fob. You’ll also find some seasonal designs.

In addition to the above mentioned categories, you’ll find bookmarks with birds, bugs and dragons; patterns for spring, summer, autumn, Easter, Halloween and Christmas; fantasy designs and projects for tea lovers.

So grab an audiobook and a project form Yellow Birdie Stitches to make for your next paper book read.
