Dr. Seuss’ birthday is celebrated each year on March 2, and to honor his legacy of encouraging reading and silliness I thought I would share some Dr. Seuss cross stitch patterns.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find any free ones, but throwing a few coins to a designer every now and then is good for your karma, right?
This ABC pattern from Cuddle Up Cross Stitch is labeled as being a crochet pattern but it could be used as a cross stitch chart as well. This is the cover the ABC book, and the pattern runs $6.25.
RainbowStitchCross on etsy has (as of this writing) a buy one get one free offer on her Dr. Seuss patterns. There are lots of cute ones with different quotes and little illustrations.
Stitchline, also on etay, has a sweet world map with “Oh the places you’ll go” stitched on it. That one runs $4.95. And NataliNeedlework has a set of four designs featuring Dr. Seuss quotes for $12.
CloudFactory has a super cute Seuss pattern with the Cat, the Grinch and Thing 1 and Thing 2. It costs $4.50.
So much cuteness! Do you have any Seuss decor? It’s a great theme for a little one’s bedroom or playroom.
I already shared some cross stitch patterns specific to America 250, but if you want to cross stitch something more general for the Fourth of July, these patriotic sampler style patterns are a great place to start.
Too funny! I forget he and I have the same birthday, and my mother-in-law!
