I wanted to share a little something for Cinco de Mayo, but not of the culturally stereotypical type stuff you normally see this time of year.
I thought a Mexican flag cross stitch pattern would be great, but strangely enough I couldn’t find one.
Admittedly all the detail around the eagle is complicated to chart out.
I did find a Mexican flag bead pattern from Kandi’s Patterns, which isn’t a perfect representation but is actually pretty good.
If you’re willing to buy a pattern I found two crochet patterns for Mexican flags: one from Cuddle Up Creations and the other from Cozy Concepts. Because crochet patterns are presented in a chart form, you can use them as cross stitch patterns as well.
If anyone out there has a source for Mexican flag cross stitch patterns, I’d love to know about them!

I was recently doing a scroll through some crafting websites that I follow and I came across this amazing collection of cross stitch job patterns from Koekoek. It includes more than 100 different jobs, sports and hobbies, and these would be so much fun to personalize and stitch up for friends, family and co-workers.
I have been looking myself and cannot find one either. Did you do what is in the picture? If you did you could you share with me please.
