Cross Stitch It takes inspiration for their charts from everywhere and anywhere, but particularly love antique needlework and creating samplers in traditional styles. They like to try to bring back what might have been the original colors used and believe it’s a shame to see the dull, drab colors on old samplers. They currently have designs on the cover of Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly and The Gift of Stitching, and inside Just Cross Stitch – all samplers, but they do more than that!
They are also developing a range of Mottos in an ancient Roman Mosiac style. The first one is available in our Zazzle store on a tee shirt and mouse mat, and will soon be available as a PDF pattern. There’s a lot more in development, so visit the site often to stay up-to-date!
